About Mainely Ticks

Mainely Ticks was founded by Ed Maurais, Bob Maurais & George Bennett and was incorporated in 2004. Ed and George oversee the residential and commercial pest control divisions in York and Cumberland counties.

Bob & Barb Maurais, both professional educators, coordinate and deliver the educational programs. Bob is a retired Industrial Arts/Technology Education teacher who taught for 31 years. In 1996, Bob was honored to represent all Maine teachers as "Maine Teacher of the Year." Barb is employed as a Title I Reading paraprofessional in RSU#14 and serves as Educational Resources/Webmaster for Mainely Ticks.

Mainely Ticks is pleased to offer community based educational workshops and forums in York & Cumberland counties, Maine. Our most recent ProTickMe initiative will expand the scope of our educational programs and products to all six New England states and beyond.
